Issue of postal voters’ ballot papers, opening of postal voters’ ballot boxes

 and counting of votes

A Chara,

 

 

I hereby give you notice that if the forthcoming election is contested I shall  –

 

1.                  Issue ballot papers to postal voters at The Office of The Returning Officer, 3rd Floor, 6 Lapps Quay, Cork on the 8th day of October 2018 at 11:30 am. You may appoint 2 agents to attend. Written notice of their names and addresses must be given to me before the time mentioned.

 

2.                  Open the postal voters’ ballot boxes at Sportlann, Coláiste Choilm, Ballincollig, Co. Cork on the 26th day of October 2018 at 6:30 p.m.  You may appoint 2 agents to attend. Written notice of their names and addresses must be given to me not later than two days before the polling day.

 

3.                  Begin to count the votes at 9 a.m. on the day after the polling day at

Ø  Sportlann, Coláiste Choilm, Ballincollig, Co. Cork for East Cork.

Ø  Culturlann, Coláiste Choilm, Ballincollig, Co. Cork. for Cork North West

Ø  Clonakilty Community Hall, College Grove Clonakilty for Cork South West.

 

The candidate may appoint not more than 2 agents to attend. Written Notice of their names and addresses must be given to me not later than two days before polling day.

 

The name of any personation agent appointed by you and the polling station to which he is allotted should also be notified to me together with the names and addresses of any sub-agents.

1.         go n-eiseoidh mé páipéir bhallóide do vótóirí poist ag Oifig an Cheann Comhairimh, Urlár 3, 6 Lapps Quay, Co Chorcaí ar an 8 lá de Dheireadh Fómhair 2018 ag 11:30. Is féidir leat 2 gníomhaire a cheapadh le bheith i láthair. Ní mór fógra i scríbhinn a thabhairt domsa maidir lena gcuid ainmneacha agus a gcuid seoltaí roimh an am atá luaite.

2.         go n-osclóidh mé boscaí vótála na vótóirí poist ag Sportlann, Colaiste Choilm, Baile an Choilligh, Co. Chorcaí ar an 26th lá de Deireadh Fómhair 2018 ag 6:30 pm. Is féidir leat 2 gníomhaire a cheapadh le bheith i láthair. Ní mór fógra i scríbhinn a thabhairt domsa maidir lena gcuid ainmneacha agus a gcuid seoltaí tráth nach déanaí ná dhá lá roimh lá na vótaíochta.

 

3.         go dtosóidh mé ag comhaireamh na vótaí ag 9 a.m. an lá tar éis lá na vótála ag

Ø   Sportlann, Coláiste Choilm, Baile an Choilligh, Co. Chorcaí do Chorcaí Thoir.

Ø  Culturlann, Coláiste Choilm, Baile an Choilligh, Co. Chorcaí do Chorcaí Thiar Thuaidh.

Ø  Halla pobail Chloich na Coillte, College Grove Cloich na Coillte do Chorcaí Thiar Theas.

 

            Féadfaidh an t-iarrthóir líon gníomhairí nach mó ná 2 a cheapadh le bheith i láthair. Ní mór fógra i scríbhinn a thabhairt domsa maidir lena gcuid ainmneacha agus a gcuid seoltaí tráth nach déanaí ná dhá lá roimh lá na vótaíochta.
